What are the criteria for accreditation?
KPA programme accreditation is granted when a centre successfully demonstrates the quality and validity of the content and assessment of the programme. We assess the quality of your programme in line with KPA requirements across each of the areas listed below.
What evidence do I need to upload as part of the application?
- A programme overview with a clear purpose for the programme, outlining the key audience, and stating the delivery time.
- Learning outcomes which are clear and specific, relevant to the sector, and assessable.
- Assessment strategy - assessment plan covering the LOs and reliable marking methodology for each assessment.
This evidence might be in the form of:
- a spreadsheet containing unit overviews
- sample assessments and mark schemes
- a programme brochure
- a web page outlining the programme
If you are not already a KPA approved centre, you will need to undertake KPA centre approval as part of this process.

What our centres say
KPA is proud to work with the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) to endorse the KPA CIPP qualification Diploma in Pension Administration.
The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) has worked with Kaplan Professional Awards to endorse our level three qualifications since 2011. We chose to work with Kaplan due to their longevity, experience and profile within the finance and accounting profession, which adds value to and kudos to the CIPP qualifications.
